I don't shower aboard, I have salt water in my galley for washing dishes, I don't use my pressure water system at all other than when I'm at a dock, I'm very careful always about the amount of water I use. If there are more than one person aboard, or you use water differently than I do you're experiences will vary quite a lot. If I leave with full tanks, I'm not worried about any passage I'm likely to encounter. 70 gallons can either be hardly any water at all, or plenty for weeks and weeks, depending.
